Hand Turned Owl Hooter made from English Walnut

This owl hooter mimics the sounds of the Barred Owl. Owl Hooter are typically used in turkey hunting as a locator call. To use the call you must cup your hands over the end of the call creating a noise chamber within your palms. If you blow the call without doing this, it will sound like a mallard duck call. Insert – Single reed mylar

Finish – All of the wood components of our game calls are finished with a high friction wax and crystal coat that is applied on the lathe.

Wood – English Walnut is hardwood with origins spanning much of southeastern Europe and Asia. It was later cultivated in England and North America. It has a medium brown background with marbling of darker brown and red.
